What is AWMS’s business model?

AWSS is a Software as a service (Saas) platform.

Is AWMS a cloud platform or on-premises?

AWMS is a cloud based platform.
In cases where the customer requests it, it is possible to evaluate the on-premise installation.

What data does AWMS feed on?

AWMS is fed with data from systems used by production (such as ERP, MES and schedulers) and from those used for personnel administrative management.

How can AWMS be integrated with the systems in use in our company?

AWMS is able to integrate mainly with three methodologies: file exchange in shared folder, direct reading from database or through dedicated webservices/API/RFC triggers.
In each new scenario, a dedicated analysis is performed and the best integration strategy is evaluated.

With which tools (PC, tablet, smartphone) can I use AWMS?

AWMS is a cloud solution that can be used from a PC or Tablet.
From a smartphone, on the other hand, it is possible to use Azzurra, the AWMS mobile application for employee-factory communications.

How customizable is the AWMS product?

At the request of a customer, it is possible to evaluate the introduction of new features in AWSMS.

Is it possible to have only one AWMS module?

Yes, as the solution is modular and provides for the possibility of adopting the package solution.

If environmental and safety legislation changes, is AWMS updated?

AWMS will be updated on the basis of the new regulations only after communication from the company or the doctor. Learn more about the Safety functionality.

What kind of efficiency does AWS measure?

AWSMS measures the efficiency of workforce allocation on the shop floor. Specifically we consider the loans between different cost centers and the availability component of the OEE. Learn more about the Efficiency feature.

Are shifts kept fixed in AWMS?

AWMS can already manage even very complex shifts, both on the production side and on the workforce side. An additional long-term calculation module for operator shift planning is being developed through applications of dedicated algorithms to cover operations needs, which will be operational from September 2021.

Given the schedule, does AWMS inform me of the personnel requirements?

AWMS provides a snapshot of skill coverage, with granularity down to the individual work shift. To date, AWMS does not provide estimates on the number of people needed given the planned production needs. Learn more about the Planning function.

Who has access to employee personnel?

Only those who have the right to do so can access employee data. Furthermore, some types of data may be obscured, depending on the level of confidentiality required by data protection legislation.

What data does the employee have access to?

The production employee does not have access to the interface reserved for managers, in which personal data is saved. You will only be able to access the Azzurra mobile app.

How do Azzurra and the chatbot work?

Azzurra is an application for smartphones which allows the exchange of communications, information and requests in a two-way way between the company, managers and operators, making life easier for employees and managers.

Are there communication reading checks in Azzura?

Yes, Azzurra allows you to view whether or not messages have been read by users.

Do read receipts on the Azzurra app have legal value?

No, read receipts have no legal value.

Azzurra is only available in Italian?

No, Azzurra can be viewed in several languages other than Italian.

Can Azzurra also be used by white collars?

Yes, Azzurra can be used by white collars, but it was developed to meet the specific needs of blue collars.
